My Name is Khan, is such a wonderful movie, which clearly explains some of the real facts which occurred in this world. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajoj, this film has come out with the right message and surely many would have cried after watching this movie.
SRK plays the role of Rizwan Khan, who is suffering from Asperger's syndrome. The story deals with his love towards Kajol(Mandira) , who was divorced and has a son.Rizwan marries Mandira and the family lives happily, until America was attacked by terrorist ( 9/11 incident). Then the people in USA, start to lose faith in innocent Muslims and watch them as suspects. Mandira's son Sameer's name was changed to Sameer Khan, after Mandira got married to Rizwan Khan. Sameer was also beaten to death by some of the American Students, as his last name was Khan.
Mandira was vary angry with Rizwan as she believed that the last name Khan has cost the life of his son.She then tells Rizwan that she no longer wants him in her life. When he asks her what he has to do to be a part of her life, she tells him that he has to tell the people of the United States, and the President that his name is Khan and that he is not a terrorist. The rest of the story explains the journey of Rizwan, who tries to meet the President of USA so as to explain that his name his Khan and he is not a terrorist.
A very touching movie.
