Kathryn Bigelow, has done a marvelous job, with her film "The Hurt Locker" , which is now set, not only to compete with Avatar but also to win the race. The Hurt Locker is based on the Iraq war and this film has already defeated Avatar at the BAFTA awards. As a matter of fact, Kathryn Bigelow was ex- wife of James Cameroon and surely this will be an interesting competition.
