On an airplane to Los Angeles, Kate Hazeltine, a captain in the U.S. Army on a one-day leave, meets Holden who has recently become single again. In Los Angeles, florist Reed Bennett eagerly proposes to his girlfriend Morley who accepts his offer, much to the surprise of Reed’s friend Alphonso and best friend Julia . Julia, a primary school teacher, has recently fallen in love with Dr. Harrison Copeland who might just be hiding his true agenda. Meanwhile one of Julia’s students, Edison , is trying to send flowers to his Valentine, while his babysitter, Grace , is planning her first sexual encounter with boyfriend Alex . Meanwhile Edison’s grandparents, Edgar and Estelle , are facing the troubles of a long marriage while Grace’s friends, Willy and Felicia are experiencing the freshness of new love. Sean Jackson , a closeted professional football player, is contemplating the end of his career together with his publicist Kara and his agent Paula . Kara, a close friend of Julia’s, is organizing her annual ‘We Hate Valentine’s Day’ Party but is starting to become interested in sports reporter Kelvin Briggs who has been sent out by his producer Susan to cover Valentine’s Day because of a lack of sports news. Paula has recently hired a new receptionist called Liz who has recently started dating mailroom clerk Jason . However, Liz is keeping a kinky little secret from Jason.

Shiv Sena vs Shah Rukh Khan - Who is the winner?
One of the much expected film of the year, "My Name is Khan" is all set to be released on 12th February 2010, in spite of all obstacles, caused by Shiv Sena.
What is the actual Problem?
The problem started when Shah Rukh Khan gave a statement supporting Pakistan Players as he was very much disappointed for net selecting Pakistan Players in IPL 3 auction. He also said that Sports must be free from politics. but Shiv Sena, who always wait for any chance to create problem, used this opportunity to start another meaningless problem and they went to the extent of calling SRK , a traitor and were also against the release of SRK's latest film "My Name is Khan".
Who is the winner?
SRK is a clear winner in this cold war and many believed he did exceedingly well in tackling this problem and also made this obstacle a chance to promote his movie. As a matter of fact people of India doesn't like parties like Shiv Sena, who tries to Split the nation in the name of religion, region and caste. As people love SRK, it is clear that the people supports SRK an they also believe that My Name is Khan will do well at the box office.

"Kavi" Nominated for Oscar
Everybody thought India's hope for Oscar 2010 was over when AR Rahman's song from "Couples Retreat" failed to make the nominations.But still we can expect an award for an Indian Connection, because an Indian Story "Short Film" named as "KAVI" will compete with other films for Oscar. This film is about a small boy Kavi who works as a slave and this film also explains the passion of the boy, i.e to study and play cricket.
This film is directed by Gregg Helvey a a part of Helvey's University of Southern California thesis project and it is a 19 minutes movie. This film will complete in "Short Film" category and it will compete with films like,
The Door, directed by Juanita Wilson, James Flyn
Instead of Abracadabra directed by Patrik Eklund, Mathias Fjellstrom
Miracle Fish directed by Luke Doolan, Drew Bailey and
