Movies competing with Avatar on 18th December,2009

Hi, everyone in this entire world is eagerly expecting for the latest Hollywood release "Avatar". But at the same time we must also remember that three other English movies are also releasing on 18th December. This is going to be a tough challenge for these movies, competing with Avatar, the world's costliest movie, but we hope that all the movies performs well at the box office. 1) The Young Victoria:

This is a British movie and it was already released in UK on 6th March and received well. December 18 will the world wide release of this film.This film is based around the accession to the throne and early reign of Queen Victoria, and her marriage to Prince Albert. Emily Blunt, who played the role of Queen Victoria, has received a Golden Globe nomination in 2009 for Best Actress in a Drama.

2) Nine:

This is a musical romantic film, and it is releasing (limited release) of 18th December, but the world wide release of the film is on 25th December.This film has already won 5 Golden Globe nominations and that includes

2) Best Original Song - Motion Picture  - Maury Yeston
3) Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy  -  Daniel Day-Lewis

3) Did you hear about the Morgans?:

This is a comedy film directed by Marc Lawrence and this is a story about a Manhattan couple Meryl (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Paul Morgan ( Hugh Grant).
