Avatar overtakes Titanic - Avatar breaks record

Officially, now Avatar is the costliest film in the world as it crossed the revenue earned by James Cameroon blockbuster "Titanic". Cameroon broke his own record. the stats below will give you an idea, how Avatar is performing well at the box office.

Titanic:

Budget: Rs. 925 cores ($200 million)

Gross Revenue: Rs. 8526 crores ( $ 1.84 billion )

Avatar:

Budget: Rs. 1096 cores ($247 million)

Gross Revenue: Rs. 8599 crores ( $ 1.85 billion ){Till January, 2010}

Hindi Super Star, Anil Kapoor is making his debut in the famous US TV serial "24" and he will play the character called "Omar Hassan" in the 8th season, the president of imaginary country called as the Islamic Republic of Kamistan. The season 8 have already started on January 17, 2010 and this season revolves around the assassination attempt made on Omar Hassan and how Jack Bauer tries to stop it.Anil Kapoor says that he is really excited in doing this project and you can watch some his interview,where he explains his experience in 24.
