The story goes like this when God in the space discuss and send an angel to help a person called George Bailey, who intends to commit suicide as he lost most of his money and need the insurance amount to overcome all his financial problems...oops.. but he won't be there because the amount will be given as insurance money only if he dies

At that time the angel from the Heaven comes and saves his life and also shows the world in such a way that the character called George bailey never existed. Even though this film makes you cry at the end, this film has lot of humor and definitely credit must goes to Roberto Benigni, for a great performance. The story goes way back to second world war when the hero and his family captured along with others weer captured by the Nazi's as virtual slaves.

Roberto Benigni, hides his son from the Nazi's and explains that he is playing a game and if he wins he would get a tanker, so as to ensure that his son doesn't knew that they were captured.a sudden, unexpected but superb climax makes you feel.
